Olivia + Garett | East Grand Lake, Cottage Wedding

This past Saturday I had the honour and privilege of documenting Olivia and Garett’s wedding at Olivia’s family cottage on East Grand Lake. Olivia and Garett were such a joy to work with, they are both sweet and easy-going, they made my job an absolute breeze, even their sweet puppy Henny hoped in some photos – when she wasn’t napping that is.

The lake made the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and Garett was all smiles as Olivia walked down the aisle. After the ceremony guests mingled while we took some photos and then had a delicious dinner served by Sizzler’s BBQ. Following dinner and speeches, everyone gathered for the first dances. Olivia and Garett danced their first dance to Yellow by Coldplay, I love all of the different songs that couples choose for their first dance. During the father-daughter dances Olivia’s grandfather cut in, it was such a sweet moment I might have teared up a bit. After the first dances, the party started and guests enjoyed an evening of live music and dancing.

Olivia & Garett thank you for having me! Congratulations!
