Sara & Stefan’s wedding day was an absolute dream! Everything was relaxed and effortless. I think in all of my years of photographing wedding days I have never shot one where everything just ran perfectly on time but this one was pretty darn close.
Sara and her friends prepared for the day at their home where her and her dad shared a first look that almost brought everyone is the room to tears. It was such a sweet emotional moment, one that will definitely be remembered.
Sara & Stefan exchanged vows in front of family and friends on a hillside overlooking Bates Barn and the Belle Isle Bay. After portrait time, the couple joined their guests for a wonderful dinner prepared by the talented cooks at River’s Edge Catering followed by speeches that were just the right amount of sweet and funny. Sara’s Maid of Honour was not able to join in person but recorded the most lovely toast to her best friend.
Following some mingling and the first dances, DJ Steve got the party started. He had everyone on their feet dancing in no time! Stefan hopped on a chair and had his friends toss him in the air which was so much fun to photograph!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Beyer! Documenting your first day as husband and wife was a joy!
