This past Saturday I had the honor and privilege of documenting Vanessa and Zach’s wedding day. Vanessa and Zach first booked me back in 2016 so I have been anticipating this one for a while and it did not disappoint. These two said there I dos in a lovely service surrounded by their closest friends and family. To really make the ceremony their own Vanessa had a close friend sing as she walked down the aisle, they also had their mothers and grandmothers pour different colored sands into a jar to signify their unbreakable union.
After the ceremony, we took a little stroll through the Gateway Wetlands trail to get some beautiful photos. We were joined by Vanessa and Zach’s beloved Goldendoodle, Astro who was overjoyed to take place in the festivities.
When we finished up with the photos, Vanessa and Zach joined their family and friends for a beautiful reception at the Hazen Park Centre which had been incredibly decorated by the talented team at Exclusive Events. One of the highlights of the evening was a surprise that Vanessa and her dad had planned for the father-daughter dance, a song mash-up, it was so much fun! The crew partied on into the night with lots of fun games and dancing. This day was truly a blast to be a part of. Congratulations newlyweds!
